Tax Help documents needed -
 

Taxpayers must have available all information and documents that have been received that apply to their 2009 income taxes including:

 

  • Current tax forms and the preparation booklet; A copy of 2008's tax return(s);

  •  Total amount non-taxable Economic Stimulus Payments (ESP) received during 2009

  • Social Security or Individual Tax ID numbers for all household members and personal identification.

  • Check book so that any refund due can be direct deposited

  •  All 2009 income report forms received:

  • SSA-1099 form if you were paid Social Security benefits; ·RRB-1099-R US Railroad Retirement Board forms (pension or annuity), ·W-2, Wage and Tax Statement forms.

  • W-2G, Certain Gambling Winnings forms. 

  • Unemployment compensation statements;

  • All 1099 forms(1099-INT, 1099-OID, 1099-DIV, 1099-R, 1099-B, 1099-S, 1099-MISC)

  • Documents relating to deductible expenses including total real estate taxes paid.

  • Documentation showing original purchase price of sold assets;

  • All receipts or canceled checks if itemizing deductions;
