Jan. 26	"Harold and the Purple Crayon" - Children will create a purple collage based on the items that Harold draws. Book Topics: Crayons, Art, The Color Purple, Little Boys
Feb. 2	"A Picture for Harold's Room" - Children will get to act as Harold. They will receive one purple crayon to draw anything they like. Book Topics: Crayons, Art, The Color Purple, Little Boys
Feb. 9	"Fish is Fish" - Children will create an aquarium full of sea animals. Book Topics: fish, Oceans, Aquariums
Feb. 16	"The Wheels on the Bus" - Children will assemble the bus and the people that they see in the film. Book Topics: Wheels, Buses, Cars, Travel, Circle, Families
Feb. 23	"Joseph had a Little Overcoat" - Children will make a poster with each of the items of clothing Joseph turns his coat into. Book Topics: Clothes, Coats, Seasons, Collages
Mar. 1	"Bugs! Bugs! Bugs!" - Children will create a bug of their choice. Book Topics: Bugs, Insects
Mar 8	"Goldilocks and the Three Bears" - Children will put together items from the story according to whom they belong. Book Topics: folktales, Bears, Families, Order, Sorting
Mar. 15	"Bear Snores On" - Children will make a bean bag bear. Book Topics: Bears, Hibernation, Winter, Snoring
Mar. 22	"Swimmy" - Children will make a colorful fish form tissue paper. Book Topics: Fish, Oceans, Sea Animals, Colors
Mar. 29	"Drummer Hoff" - Children will create a number of musical instruments. Book Topics: Instruments, Marching Bands
Apr. 5	"It's Mine" - Children will create a stained glass picture of the ocean using tissue paper. Book Topics: Oceans, Sea Animals, Sharing, Colors
Apr. 12	"Cornelius" - Children will use their imaginations to create their own type of animal. Book Topics: Animals
Apr. 19	"The Very Hungry Caterpillar" - Children will put together the very hungry caterpillar, as seen in the movie. Book Topics: Caterpillars, Butterflies, Bugs, Insects, Fruit
Apr. 26	"The Mixed Up Chameleon" - Children will assemble their own mixed up chameleon using different animal parts. Book Topics: Shapes, Colors, Patterns
May 3	"All the Colors of the Earth" - Children will match items with the colors they belong to. Book Topics: Cultures, Families, Colors
May 10	"Papa Please Get the Moon for Me" - Children will create on outer space mobile. Book Topics: Moon, Space, Night, Fathers, Sons, Family
May 17	"The Very Quiet Cricket" - Children will make a variety of small insects using pipe cleaners. Book Topics: Crickets, Quiet, Noise, Insects, Bugs
May 24	"Bear Wants More" - Children will create a paper teddy bear. Book topics: Bears, Forest Animals
May 31	"Bark George" - Children will assemble George and the animals the vet removes from inside him. Book Topics: Dogs, Families, Veterinarians, Language, Talking
