Get stretching during this Yoga class taught by teachers from Saraswati’s Yoga Joint! The class is open to children ages 3 to 12 and their parents or caregivers. No registration necessary but the program is limited to the first 60 people who arrive. Be sure to bring some water to stay hydrated and a yoga mat or towel. We finally have the details set for a program with Susan Snyder and Mahru Ghashghaei, authors of Nine Rubies. (See below - also they will be meeting with the Children's Writer's Club. On Wednesday, March 13, at noon, Susan Snyder and Mharu Ghashghaei, authors of Nine Rubies will be at the Norwalk Public Library for an AuthorSpeak event at noon in the 3/4 auditorium. They will use the creation of and stories from Nine Rubies to illustrate a process of opening one's self to others who may seem very different, and identify a process for creating the environment in which this interaction is safe and supported. They will share their book and explore what it means to appreciate and celebrate differences as well as similarities and focus on the process of developing a relationship and friendship when experiences are so different.
