College Panel for Parents and Students’ has been rescheduled at The Norwalk Public Library, 1 Belden Avenue, for Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the Auditorium.
The time frame for applying to colleges is coming up and this program, sponsored by the Norwalk Education Foundation and the Norwalk Public Library, will cover three main topics. the Common Application by Dan Sullivan, Chairman of the Norwalk High Guidance Department -- the process and requirements; The College Essay by Cathy Barton Zales, of Next Chapter College Consulting -- essay writing, which is part of college planning admission; and Financial Aid -- the application process for financial aid for students -- by Dan Sullivan, Chairman of the Norwalk High Guidance Department.
The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and is required for all students to get money for college.
