  4. Richard "Cookie" Thomas Concert

    The Friends of the Norwalk Public Library are sponsoring a Concert on Saturday, October 25th at 3:00 pm with Richard, "Cookie" Thomas in the Main Level Reading Room in celebration of their Book Sale. Cookie performed this summer as part of The Sounds of Summer at the Library series. His career began in Philadelphia in 1960 when he had the opportunity, at fourteen, to open for B.B. King. Cookie's voice is especially suited to well-known classic standards. He draws inspiration from the likes of Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra and Johnny Hartman.

She is the owner of LKB Associates, which offers editorial services to individuals and organizations from writing, editing, planning, helping to publish, and teaching the craft of writing. Leslie has most recently taught a writing course at Norwalk Community College for the Lifetime Learner's Program.
