    Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies will be AuthorSpeak with Dr. Robert Zembroski. Dr. Z will be here on Thursday, September 18th at 7 pm in the auditorium discussing his book, Rebuild: Dr. Z's Body Composition Diet. Dr. Robert Zembroski is a Physician, Board-Certified Chiropractic Neurologist, Clinical Nutritionist and specialist in Functional Medicine. Dr. Z is the director of The Darien Center for Functional Medicine. Twenty-one years in private practice, as well as his unique training, have helped Dr. Zembroski become an expert in health topics including heart disease, diabetes, obesity, cancer, hormone-related issues, and more. Dr. Z rebuilt his body after a harrowing cancer treatment. His personal experience, coupled with what his patients experience when trying to navigate the standardhealthcare system (confusion, poor results or no results), inspired him to write "Rebuild."   3. Meet The Artist: Larry Elledge

    Meet Larry Elledge who has been designing clay sculpture and painting landscapes for private collection for 35 years, in Connecticut, Kansas City, Tulsa and New York. Inspired by forms of nature, Larry integrates leaves, flowers and plant life shapes into his sculpture, glasswork and paintings. His works have been shown and sold in dozens of galleries, art fairs and he has participated in group and individual exhibitions over the decades, including the Westport Art Fair in Connecticut and the Central Park Gallery in the Kansas City Art District.

I Would Like to Write…A Creative Writing Journey How many times have you heard someone say “I would like to write, but I don’t know how to begin? “ or “I have a great idea, but who would want to read it?” Leslie Kerr is a published writer and editor for newspapers, magazines, and trade journals nationwide, and has taught at the elementary, secondary, and college level classes for over 30 years. She is the owner of LKB Associates, which offers editorial services to individuals and organizations from writing, editing, planning, helping to publish, and teaching the craft of writing. Leslie has most recently taught a writing course at Norwalk Community College for the Lifetime Learner's Program.
