Our instructor, Karen, also teaches at the Edge, the Southport Raquet Club, and the Westport Y. The series is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Norwalk Public Library. For ages 13 and up.     Resolve to Write! which is a writing workshop led by Leslie Kerr will meet on Tuesday at 3:00 in the Carnegie Room at the Norwalk Public Library, 1 Belden Avenue. I Would Like to Write…A Creative Writing Journey How many times have you heard someone say “I would like to write, but I don’t know how to begin? “ or “I have a great idea, but who would want to read it?” Leslie Kerr is a published writer and editor for newspapers, magazines, and trade journals nationwide, and has taught at the elementary, secondary, and college level classes for over 30 years. She is the owner of LKB Associates, which offers editorial services to individuals and organizations from writing, editing, planning, helping to publish, and teaching the craft of writing. Leslie has most recently taught a writing course at Norwalk Community College for the Lifetime Learner's Program.

YAACOV AMIDROR, Former Israeli National Security Advisor and TOM DONILON Former U.S. National Security Advisor As part of a partnership, the Norwalk Public Library is one of 10 libraries partnering with Harvard University in a current events broadcast/discussion. Each discussion will follow a live broadcast from the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum of Harvard's Institute of Politics (IOP). The Forum is Harvard University's premier arena for political speech, discussion and debate presentations and regularly features addresses by major world leaders, heads of state and elected officials.     Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies will be AuthorSpeak with Dr. Robert Zembroski. Dr. Z will be here on Thursday, September 18th at 7 pm in the auditorium discussing his book, Rebuild: Dr. Z's Body Composition Diet. Dr. Robert Zembroski is a Physician, Board-Certified Chiropractic Neurologist, Clinical Nutritionist and specialist in Functional Medicine. Dr. Z is the director of The Darien Center for Functional Medicine. Twenty-one years in private practice, as well as his unique training, have helped Dr. Zembroski become an expert in health topics including heart disease, diabetes, obesity, cancer, hormone-related issues, and more. Dr. Z rebuilt his body after a harrowing cancer treatment. His personal experience, coupled with what his patients experience when trying to navigate the standardhealthcare system (confusion, poor results or no results), inspired him to write "Rebuild."
